The artists at Bridgewater have art class once a week for about an hour. The structure of our program follows the National Art Education Association and Minnesota State Standards with themes surrounding the areas of create, present, respond, and connect. The program strives to not only develop artistic ways of thinking and problem solving, but also to create personal works of art that tell our stories and allow us to express our feelings.Common questions:
- A Reminder About Art Room Attire: Smocks are provided as needed. However, accidents happen and even though most of the art materials we use are washable it might be a good idea to dress for the mess.
- Students do not need to bring any materials, but donations of any type of wipes and other supplies are always appreciated.
- Please let Ms. W know right away about allergic reactions and health changes so alternative supplies can be used
- Please ask your artist about their artwork and what their ideas are, what story are they trying to tell, what they liked about the artwork, or what inspired them?
